Primary Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and implementation of the latest technologies and state-of-the-art AI and computer vision models to enhance our manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand complex business requirements and develop sophisticated AI-driven solutions to address these needs.
- Perform advanced data collection and preprocessing from various automated and manual processes, ensuring data integrity and quality.
- Analyze both structured and unstructured data from diverse sources, transforming raw data into actionable business insights through the development of advanced ETL pipelines and comprehensive visualization dashboards.
- Develop and refine machine learning models, including training, tuning, and evaluating models for optimal performance.
- Design and implement computer vision solutions, including image classification (e.g., convolutional neural networks – CNNs) and object detection (e.g., YOLO models), specifically tailored for manufacturing applications.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and computer vision, and apply this knowledge to ongoing projects.
Required Experience
- 8+ years of experience in Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Computer vison and Data Analysis with a proven track record of delivering impactful solutions.
- Advanced degree in engineering, computer science, or a related analytical field.
- Proficiency in Python programming language and PyTorch deep learning frameworks
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with computer vision techniques applicable to manufacturing, including Image Classification, Object Detection, Semantic Segmentation, Action Recognition,
- Strong mathematical foundations, comprehensive understanding of linear algebra, optimization and statistics is essential.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, etc.) for scalable data processing and model deployment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, with a strong tech-savvy mindset and a continuous eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the capability to translate complex business challenges into scalable AI solutions.
- Demonstrated research ability with published paper in a reputable journal or conference is highly desirable
- Prior working knowledge with large datasets and robotics is a plus.
