Responsibilities Data Science: Lead the development and design efforts of model architecture, ensuring high-quality results Mentorship and Code Review: Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and enforce coding standards to maintain code quality and facilitate skill development within the team. Performance Optimization: Identify and resolve performance, optimizing model and backend integration for efficiency and more accurate results Documentation and Collaboration: Create and maintain technical documentation, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to project planning and estimation, ensuring effective communication and project success.Help the Data Science & Analytics Practice grow by mentoring, coaching junior Practice members, leading initiatives Provide thought leadership to the Practice and the Organization, believes in leading by influance through Community of Practice Technical Competencies Must have – Strong understanding of statistical models and techniques for time series forecasting. – Proficiency in machine learning algorithms, including both traditional statistical methods and modern deep learning approaches for time series analysis. – Expertise in programming languages such as Python, with a focus on data manipulation, analysis, and modeling using libraries like NumPy, pandas, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch. – Experience in handling large-scale time series data, including data cleaning, preprocessing, and feature engineering. – Familiarity with databases and query languages, as well as the ability to work with time series databases like InfluxDB. – Familiarity with data structures such as knowledge graphs and state machine representations – 3+ years of hands-on experience working with time series data, including a proven track record of developing and deploying time series forecasting and anomaly detection models. – Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, and to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. – Ability to work in an Agile environment within a team and contribute to a positive team culture. Nice to have: – Experience working with real-time and historical sensor & telemetry data such as: – (facilities) 3-phase electrical distribution systems such as Power Quality Meters, Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS), Battery Monitoring Systems, SCADA systems. – (Equipment) Cooling Mechanical Systems such as Water Cooled Chillers, Air Cooled Chillers, Variable Frequency Drivers (VFDs), Air Handling Systems, Pumps, Motors, and Compressors. – BizOps: Excel, A/P systems, SalesForce, Workday, ServiceNow – Sensors: temperature – External data: Power suppliers (e.g. forecasts), – Neo4j, Dgraph, Grafana, LLMs, Streamlit for UI – Experience working with Infrastructure tools like: Docker, DockerSwarm(or possible AWS ECS), Apache Spark – Databases: Time-series (InfluxDB), vector – COTS: Smartsheet, Service Now, SalesForce, Sharepoint – Experience with cloud based ML development tools such as Amazon Sagemaker and/or Azure ML tools.
