MindBridge has a strong focus on test automation and code quality and we’re looking for candidates willing to learn and increase both automated and manual testing skills. We want specialists who will apply their natural curiosity to learn our product end-to-end and become domain experts.

Our SaaS product is a critical part of the financial assurance ecosystem and you’ll be embedded in our development team to ensure our clients get the results they need from our data ingestion, machine learning, visualization, and workflow subsystems.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans
  • Execute test cases, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts
  • Performing exploratory testing on new features
  • Extend the capabilities of our current test framework
  • Ownership is important at MindBridge. We want someone with an inquiring mind who will dig into requirements with product managers and developers. We don’t expect you to know anything about accounting or auditing, but you’re going to learn quickly!

Below are some of the technologies we’re using for our automated tests. Tell us why you’d be a great fit — what do you know, and what are you learning?

  • JavaScript/TypeScript, Playwright, Cucumber, Nodejs, python.


  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent;
  • 1 to 5 years of experience in an IT related position
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in a software testing position is a plus
  • Fluency in JavaScript/TypeScript, experience with other scripting languages is a plus;
  • Experience with an integration system such as Jenkins or circleci
  • Familiarity with a test UI testing automated testing tool such as Playwright, Selenium, Protractor is a plus
  • Knowledge of version control systems
  • Knowledge of common testing heuristics
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Basic knowledge of financial reporting concepts (balance sheet, income statement, transactions and ledgers).

Requirements Contingent on Employment:

  • Fulfill requirements necessary to obtain and clear a full background check
  • Eligibility for Government of Canada Secret Level (II) clearance
