Job description: Job Description:We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Network Engineer to join our team. Based in Ohio, you will be part of our dynamic team. You will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth running of our network infrastructure, troubleshooting complex network problems, and leading initiatives around the implementation of current and emerging network technology solutions.Responsibilities:

• Ensure prompt incident and problem resolution, adhering strictly to change and knowledge management procedures

• Demonstrate a proven track record of installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting complex network infrastructures

• Lead initiatives around the evaluation, recommendation, and implementation of current and emerging network technology solutions

• Handle network-related tasks involving Palo Alto Firewall, Palo Alto Networks, Prisma, Prisma Cloud, LAN – Local Area Network, SD-WAN, WAN – Wide Area Network, WAN Technologies, VLAN, VoIP, Vmware Infrastructure, Vmware Technologies

• Maintain and improve network performance by performing network monitoring and analysis and performance tuning

• Troubleshoot network problems and outages, scheduling upgrades, collaborating with network architects on network optimization

• Secure network systems by establishing and enforcing policies, defining and monitoring access

• Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in professional organizations

• Report network operational status by gathering and prioritizing information, managing projects

• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest stable firmware releases

Requirements:

• Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer or in a related role.
• Proficiency in Palo Alto Firewall and Palo Alto Networks is required.
• Familiarity with Prisma and Prisma Cloud tools is essential.
• Strong knowledge of LAN – Local Area Network and SD-WAN is required.
• Understanding of WAN – Wide Area Network and WAN Technologies is essential.
• Proficiency in VLAN and VoIP is a must.
• Familiarity with Vmware Infrastructure and Vmware Technologies is required.
• Candidate must have excellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindset.
• Applicant must be capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Applicant must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Expected salary: $80000 per year
