, as well as our , and officesAbout the RoleAs a Motion Design Intern at Costello Medical, you will support with a wide range of projects for the company and our clients across the healthcare sector, including 2D and 3D animation, filming and post-production video/audio editing tailored to various platforms and events. We are therefore looking for talented individuals with a great understanding of aesthetics and a meticulous attention to detail.This role will involve close collaboration with all members of our established and growing Creative team, who will provide full training on the technical aspects of the role. A high level of organisation and flexibility is essential as you will be working on multiple projects at a time.This internship is ideal for Motion Design students or recent creative graduates who are looking to gain an insight into life in an agency or commercial environment. It will also provide a valuable opportunity to get hands-on design experience in the pharmaceutical industry.Further examples of our Creative team’s work can be found here:Key responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating Effectively: Partnering with creative colleagues and project managers at the outset of projects to determine the scope, objectives, and purpose, ensuring alignment with client expectations
- Creating Diverse Motion Content: Producing a wide range of motion content, including short “explainer” videos, detailed animations, and interactive visuals for internal teams and external clients
- End-to-End Video Production: Supporting project teams throughout all phases of video production, from pre-production planning and storyboarding to post-production editing for both live and virtual events
- Quality and Delivery: Ensuring all materials are delivered on time and within budget, maintaining the highest standards of quality and professional appearance throughout every project
- Exceptional Service: Providing outstanding customer service and maintaining the quality of deliverables while managing multiple competing priorities
Career Prospects After the InternshipAs a Motion Design Intern in the Creative team, you will have the option to select an internship length of either 3 or 6 months, enabling you to develop your skills whilst learning from experienced members of the team. Additionally, you may have the opportunity to apply for the Motion Designer role and join our expanding team on a permanent basis following completion of the internship. We also welcome applications from those looking to start and build a career in motion design.Essential requirements for the role:
- A degree level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum or expected 2.1), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio. We welcome applications from candidates in their second year of study or later, and with a diverse range of specialisms, including but not limited to; Motion Graphics, Visual Effects, Animation, Film, Media Production, Digital Design
- Excellent technical skills in Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro
- Proven experience developing and executing creative concepts
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to think outside the box
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to take initiative and work independently, in addition to working collaboratively within a team
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage conflicting deadlines
Desired requirements for the role:
- Knowledge of other Adobe software such as Illustrator, Photoshop, and Audition, as well as 3D software like Cinema 4D
- A keen interest in applying creative design within the healthcare sector
