Develop the vision, strategy, objectives and define the marketing plan to achieve the goals. Understand the industry trends and customers needs to leverage these opportunities into value creation for the customers and our company. Manage the product portfolio and orient the innovation pipeline accordingly.Missions & ResponsibilitiesMarket Segment Development
- Responsible for the market, competition and technology survey on his/her market segments
- Interact on a regular basis with our sold and unsold customers to understand their needs and pain points as well as their customers’.
- Identify opportunities to develop our business through new/unaddressed applications, or new product development, quantify & prioritize them
- Develop & support the annual marketing plan execution in collaboration with our Cement Sales Director & team
- Create new marketing programs to increase our revenue, margin and customer portfolio.
- Work with the Sales & Technical teams to develop tools that will help selling more value to the customers
- Leverage Seminar, association, promotional lead to support growth
Innovation & sustainability
- Work hand in hand with the innovation teams (Local & Corporate) to initiate innovation projects internally or in co-development with key partners to develop new products or new solutions
- Act as a project manager for any new development project in his/her scope coordinating the different cross-functional teams and make sure the project meets the objectives and deadlines.
- Build a strong understanding of the trends and challenges related to the carbon reduction of the industry to leverage them to business opportunities
- Leverage digital tools to improve operational efficiency and data collection and analysis
Product Portfolio Management
- Ensure the relevance of his/her product portfolio positioning in terms of cost/performance with the market/customer needs
- Monitor the performance (sales volume, margin, market penetration, etc.) of his/her product mix and initiate actions to review pricing or optimize product costs.
- Work closely with procurement & operations teams to ensure the availability and cost-effectiveness of our products
- Manage new product marketing launch and track ROI
- Responsible for training the sales & technical teams on the products in his/her scope and develop training materials as needed.
- Responsible for sku creation, modification and discontinuation
- Ensure consistency between the Group Marketing & Innovation strategy and the local projects working with the Corporate Business Units
- Identify areas where co-develop with the KA.

Is this job for you ?Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, HR or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience with a Technical background (chemical engineer or equivalent)
- 5+ years of experience in the concrete or cement industry (Sales/Marketing, Tech Support)
- Good understanding of the governmental approval agencies/regulatory bodies, industry specifications, sustainability codes
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other standard software
- Ability to travel up to 30% to visit customers and job sites
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) as well as proven relationship-management skills; ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to all levels, including senior executive levels
- Problem-solving and result oriented
- Strong project management skills; very well organized and set priorities, get things done
- This role requires physical capabilities to complete daily work such as being able to climb, balance, bend / stoop / kneel / crouch / crawl, stand and walk, manual hand dexterity, repetitive motions, be able to express or receive detailed information by means of spoken word, and being able to express or receive detailed information by non-verbal means
