The knowledge of emerging technologies, such as blockchain, quantum cryptography, cyber-physical systems, 5G/6G security etc – would be an advantage.

You will join a thriving academic community, leading the cyber security agenda at Kingston University, through its Cyber and Digital Innovation Hub as part of the new Town House Strategy of the University. The Person

It is essential that the candidate has a doctoral level qualification and appropriate research and professional skills in a relevant area of computer science.

The provision of high-quality, student-centred, innovative teaching on our undergraduate and postgraduate programmes will be the main focus underpinning excellence demonstrated in the Academic Centre of Excellence in Cybersecurity Education, awarded a Silver Award by the NCSC, an educational arm of GCHQ. Our flagship MSc in Network and Information Security course enjoys full certification by the NCSC (GCHQ).

By the end of the probation period, you must have achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition (if this has not already been obtained). For those new to teaching, this will be through our accredited Introduction to Learning and Teaching and for those experienced in teaching, through our Kingston Academic Practice Standards Framework.
