In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating high-quality visual content that supports our marketing campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives. This includes developing engaging social media graphics, website designs, email templates, and print materials. The ideal candidate will have a strong design portfolio, ideally have experience with motion graphics and animations, and a deep understanding of brand consistency and marketing strategies.The Graphic Designer at Vortexa will collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and execute creative concepts that align with our brand guidelines. This role requires a creative professional who can maintain the visual representation of our brand across all channels, ensuring consistency and high-quality output. You will report to the Senior Content & Creative Ops Manager and work cross-functionally with various departments to bring our vision to life.Key responsibilities:
- Design and content creation: Develop and create high-quality visual content for various marketing needs, including social media graphics, website designs, email templates, and print materials. Ensure all designs are visually appealing, on-brand, and align with marketing objectives.
- Motion graphics and animation: Design and produce simple motion graphics and animations for marketing campaigns, product launches, and other promotional activities. Ensure these assets effectively communicate our brand message and engage our audience.
- Brand alignment: Ensure all visual content adheres to Vortexa’s brand guidelines and maintains consistency across all channels. Collaborate with the marketing team to align designs with overarching marketing strategies and campaign goals.
- Creative collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm, develop, and execute creative concepts efficiently. Provide design insights and recommendations to enhance the impact of marketing campaigns.
- Multi-channel execution: Contribute to the visual aspect of multi-channel marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesive and compelling design across digital, print, and video platforms.
- Project management: Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality execution. Maintain clear communication with stakeholders to meet project goals and deadlines.
Requirements:What makes someone a good fit for this role?
- Design expertise: At least 4+ years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio showcasing a variety of design projects, including digital, print, and motion graphics. Qualification in design required.
- Creative vision: A creative and critical thinker with the ability to develop innovative design concepts that effectively communicate our brand and resonate with our target audience.
- Technical proficiency: Proficient in design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, InDesign), as well as other tools for motion graphics and web design.
- Attention to detail: Strong attention to detail with a passion for typography, colour and layout. Ability to ensure consistency in design and brand representation across all channels.
- Collaboration skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment, both virtually and in-office.
- Brand understanding: Proactive in gaining a deep understanding of Vortexa’s brand, products, and industry, ensuring that all designs align with our brand identity and marketing objectives.
- Project management: Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Experience with B2B or energy sector (advantage): Experience in B2B SaaS or the energy sector is a plus, but the ability to execute outstanding design projects that drive engagement and brand awareness is more important.
