The project also includes construction of four new underground stations at Roma Street, Albert Street, Boggo Road and Woolloongabba, where the future upgraded Olympic stadium will stand.All project sites and offices are based in inner city Brisbane, and what’s not to love. Don’t miss out on the chance to be part of working on South-East Queensland’s largest infrastructure project that will leave a lasting legacy for the city of Brisbane for years to come.One project team, building career opportunities for you.You will be responsible for providing on-site engineering support to assist in the achievement of the required objectives of the project.You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring the safe and effective Comms and Controls (C&C) of the project (or a particular component thereof) in accordance with the specified requirements and client expectations.
  • Providing commissioning, coordination and leadership expertise in the planning, implementing and undertaking of the electrical and integration aspects of the project.
  • Ensuring the project is completed in a timely and cost-effective manner ensuring the finished product is safe and conforms to all standards and requirements defined within the scope under the contract.
  • Monitoring key commissioning requirements and implementing prompt corrective action if required, to ensure they are achieved in line with agreed specifications
  • Managing subcontractors and suppliers work.
  • Managing the verification of conformance for works under control.
  • Maintaining all relevant project document control and records.

Minimum requirements for this role include the following:

  • An electrical bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • Minimum 2 years’ relevant experience.
  • Applying engineering principles to comply with scope of works and technical criteria.
  • Stakeholder management, influencing and negotiation skills.
